ProIntro is operated by Postcrafts Pte. Ltd. and is part of the HeadshotPro family.
Your privacy and the protection of your data is our top priority. As we believe your personal data is and should always remain yours, we have a strong privacy policy in place. This policy is compliant with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as well as the related laws and regulations in place in Singapore.
This privacy policy applies to the website www.prointro.com, the digital business cards published on it, and the services provided through it.
1. Notice
Whenever we request information that can be used to personally identify you, you will explicitly be asked to provide it and/or give us permission to use it (for example, your e-mail address when you create an account, or your payment details when you upgrade).
2. Your consent
You will always have the choice whether to give us permission to process your information or not.
If you choose not to provide information that is essential to our services (e.g. your e-mail address to create an account, or payment information to upgrade), we will be unable to give you access to the parts of ProIntro that require it.
By agreeing to this privacy policy and providing us with your personal information you consent to us processing said information as described in this privacy policy.
3. Usage
3.1. Data we collect
- Account data: your e-mail address and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google shares with us (name, e-mail address, profile photo).
- Card content: everything you add to your card, such as your name, job title, company, phone number, e-mail address, website and social links, and photos or logos you upload.
- Payment data: if you upgrade, payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Usage data: how visitors use ProIntro (pages viewed, buttons clicked), collected with analytics cookies, and aggregate counts of views and link clicks on published cards.
3.2. Your public card
A ProIntro card is designed to be shared. When you publish a card, the information on it becomes publicly visible to anyone with the link or QR code at prointro.com/<your-username>. We ask search engines not to index card pages, but anyone who has the link can view, save and forward it. Only add information you are comfortable making public. You can edit or unpublish your card at any time.
Photo background removal runs in your own browser where supported, so the original photo is not sent to a third party for this step.
3.3. How we use your data
We use your personally identifiable information to:
- Provide you with access to ProIntro's features, including publishing and hosting your card
- Process your payments and manage your subscription
- Inform you about important information regarding ProIntro, as well as any other information you choose to opt in to
- Respond to you when you contact our support
- ProIntro's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We use usage data to understand how ProIntro is used so we can improve it.
3.4. Who we share it with
We rely on a small number of service providers to run ProIntro, who only receive the information necessary to provide their service: Google Firebase (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting of uploaded images), PostHog (product analytics) and our database and hosting providers.
If a legal request for your personally identifiable information is made by a court, judge or law enforcement, we are legally required to provide it. In these cases, we may do so without your permission and without informing you.
Outside of these categories, no party outside of ProIntro and HeadshotPro will get access to your personal information unless you specifically grant us permission. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Retention of information
We retain your information as long as this is necessary to provide you with our services. All personally identifiable information will be deleted when you inform us you wish to stop using our services (e.g. by deleting your account) or when you explicitly request us to delete it. Once your request has been submitted and confirmed, your information will be deleted within 14 days.
Information may be retained for longer if this is necessary for legal requirements (for example, invoices for tax purposes).
5. Your rights
5.1. Your rights
You are the owner of your information. As stated by the GDPR, you have several rights regarding the treatment of your information by us.
- Right of access: you are entitled to receive a copy of all personally identifiable information related to you that we have processed
- Right to rectification: you are entitled to have any personally identifiable information you have provided to us corrected if it is not correct
- Right to erasure: you are entitled to have some or all personally identifiable information we have gathered erased at your request
- Right to restriction of processing: you are entitled to us stopping the processing of your information if it is not correct, unlawful, no longer necessary, or when you object to us processing it, unless there is an essential reason for us to process it
- Right to data portability: you have the right to transfer personally identifiable information we have processed to another party

5.2. Right to object
Under the GDPR, you have the right to object to us processing your personally identifiable information for direct marketing purposes. If you file an objection with us, we will immediately stop processing that information for that purpose. You can file an objection using the e-mail address at the end of this privacy policy.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, and analytics cookies to understand how ProIntro is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may stop parts of ProIntro from working.
7. Opting out
You may opt out of non-essential communication such as newsletters at any point by clicking the link at the bottom of any of our e-mails, or by contacting us.
8. Security of your information
We take various measures to protect your data to the best of our abilities, including:
- TLS secured connections between our servers and your device
- Industry-standard authentication through Google Firebase
- The DKIM, SPF and DMARC internet standards to protect our e-mail traffic
9. Changes to this policy
We reserve the right to make changes to our privacy policy. When this happens, you will be notified at least two weeks in advance of the changes taking effect. If you do not agree with the new policy, you are free to withdraw your consent within the given time period.
